At primary schools many students recall ‘experiences’ as their best part of being at school - HAJC6 Enrichment sessions build on this.
There are 3 x 6 fortnightly enrichment cycles which will take place on alternate Wednesday afternoons. These activities help make school fun, as the activities in enrichment are non-academic activities, delivered by teaching and support staff based on their hobbies and interests, designed to broaden student experience and enrich their learning.
Students from Years 7 - 13 select activities that they would like to participate in for 6 sessions, before changing to another activity for 6 sessions and then another. These sessions will provide an opportunity for staff and students to build stronger working relationships without the barriers of a classroom environment and academic pressures.
On alternate weeks this time will be used for the provision of PDP (personal development programme) with tutors.
